Scam web site which makes reference to Standard Life Investments

It has come to the attention of Standard Life group (Standard Life plc and its subsidiaries) that a scam web site (http://www.cashlike.co.uk) has been posted on the internet that purports to represent Standard Life Investments. The scam itself would appear to target e-Gold customers however this particular web site also makes reference to Standard Life Investments Inc.

We would like to make it clear that this web site has no connection with, and is not endorsed or promoted by, Standard Life group in any way. We would strongly advise you not to visit this site, not to enter any personal or confidential details, not to click on any of the adverts and not to use any of the contact numbers or addresses supplied.

Standard Life group take a very serious view of internet scams and will take the necessary steps to protect its brand and intellectual property rights. We are currently in the process of taking a number of actions to reduce the risks associated with this site.

Scam e-mails which appear to involve Standard Life group

It has come to the attention of Standard Life group (Standard Life plc and its subsidiaries) that certain scam e-mails are in circulation that use our 'Standard Life International', 'Standard Life Bank' and other Standard Life group trading names, brands, trade marks and addresses and the relevant authorities have been alerted.

The scam e-mails may contain references to some of the following examples of names and addresses which is not an exhaustive list -
