The record date for our final dividend The number of shares you hold on this date will be used to calculate your final dividend payment for the year to 31 December 2007 |

Our 2008 AGM will be held in Edinburgh. You will be able to watch the AGM online, through our webcast |
| 30 May 2008 | Our final dividend for 2007 will be paid, if shareholders vote to approve it You should receive your cheque or confirmation a few days later, if you are entitled to receive the dividend. If you are in the Standard Life Share Account you will also receive your annual statement. |

Vote online now
As a shareholder, you can have a say in the way that Standard Life is run by voting at our AGM in May. The easiest and fastest way to vote is online. Just go to standardlife.com/shareholders– you’ll need your Shareholder Reference Number and Online Voting Number. Find these numbers in the red box at the top of your paper voting form or at the top of your email.
Manage your shares online
You can manage your shares at our registrar’s online Investor Centre – go to our managing your shareholding page to find out more. To get started, you’ll need your Shareholder Reference Number. Find it on your letter from the Chairman or at the top of your email.
