Who may attend?
As space may be limited, only shareholders or their authorised representatives or proxies should attend the meeting. Others accompanying them may be admitted at Standard Life’s discretion, but will not be entitled to speak or vote.
Admission
Please bring your letter or email from the Chairman. You may also be asked to provide proof of identity. On admission you will receive a shareholder card in exchange for your letter. If you have been appointed as proxy for a shareholder entitled to vote, please let the admission staff know and they will direct you to a proxy holders’ desk. You should bring proof of identity with you and you will also be asked to confirm the details of the shareholder you are representing.
If you hold shares in the Standard Life Share Account, you will need to be nominated as a proxy to attend and vote at the meeting. The instructions on how to do this are in the

How to get there
By train
The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is on Morrison Street. There are two stations in Edinburgh – Haymarket and Waverley. Taxis are available at both stations. If you prefer to walk, you can follow the signs to the EICC from Haymarket railway station. It is about 10 minutes’ walk. Waverley railway station is about 25 minutes’ walk from the EICC. By bus
Buses arriving from outside Edinburgh will disembark at the bus station at St Andrew Square – about 30 minutes’ walk to the EICC. Taxis are available nearby. If travelling by bus from within Edinburgh, please check the latest bus routes and timetables at

By air
Edinburgh airport is to the west of the city, 8 miles from the EICC. Taxi journey time from the airport is around 25 minutes. There is also a bus service to the city centre. The EICC is about 10 minutes’ walk, following the signs, from the Haymarket railway station bus stop.
