Doing the right thingOur city centre location in Edinburgh allows us to take advantage of the public transport network and actively encourages the use of alternative, more environmentally efficient, methods of travel. Many of our staff have made the switch and are realising the health benefits of cycling to work. |

A new era
In 2006, Standard Life moved 90% of our product literature to Era Silk,
which is the first, recycled coated grade made from genuine UK waste
that performs like a normal graphic paper.
Moving Forward
The next step, to improving our environmental footprint, is for all our suppliers to achieve Forest Stewardship Council certification (FSC). This means that the Mill, Paper Merchant and all of our Printers now have FSC chain of custody.

- 50% genuine waste pulp
- 50% pulp from well-managed forests
