Investing in the community
Our business has an impact on the communities we work in and they provide us with key resources that help us succeed as a business. We have been committed to supporting a wide range of initiatives in our communities for over fifteen years.
Our involvement with the community is through a range of programmes that are designed to support initiatives identified within the Corporate Community Investment Framework and to provide opportunities for our staff to become involved. In 2007, three areas came to the fore – developing financial capability, building employment skills and supporting health and wellbeing.

Standard Life sponsors 'On the Money'
Standard Life, Learning and Teaching Scotland and Scottish Book Trust have worked in partnership to produce 'On the Money', a book of stories for primary school children to help them become financially informed and aware and to aid their growth into financially capable adults.
